Zara Hughes' drag flick sparks Kingsmead comeback

Kingsmead Mixed XI came from behind to beat Ashford Park 2-1 on Saturday.

Ashford Park took the lead with a field goal in the first quarter.

Kingsmead levelled in the second. Noah Bennett's injection at a penalty corner was stopped cleanly, and Zara Hughes' drag flick found the bottom corner.

Jess Moore kept the visitors out after the break, and Ellie Ward's late deflection won it 2-1.

Zara Hughes was named Player of the Match.
