A proper match report after every game, without the Sunday-night writing

Most volunteer coaches mean to write a match report and run out of evening. Match Report GO writes it for you from what you logged on the touchline, so the report is ready by the time you have packed the cones away. You read it, change what you want, and share it.

How the report is made

The report is written from what you logged and checked against the match. Everything it says comes from the events you recorded during live scoring: goals or tries, who scored, who assisted, substitutions, the moments you noted, and the minutes each player spent on the pitch.

• Log the match as it happens, with as much or as little detail as you have time for.
• When you end the match, a draft report is prepared.
• You read it, edit it if you want, and publish it to a web page families can open.

Facts checked before anyone sees it

A match report that gets the score wrong is worse than no report at all. So before a report is shown to anyone, the objective facts in it (the score, the scorers and the minutes) are checked against the match you logged.

If a draft gets one of those facts wrong, the app does not publish it. It falls back to a plain template report built directly from the match data instead. It will read more simply, but it will be right.

Your words where you want them

You can edit any report by hand. Add the line about the keeper's save everyone is still talking about, or take out a sentence that does not sound like you. An edited report is marked "Edited" so it is clear the words are yours.

Reports come in two styles, Modern and Editorial, so you can choose between a clean, direct read and something closer to a newspaper write-up. On Pro you can add your own sign-off, a sponsor line and hashtags.

Player of the match

You can name a player of the match yourself, or open a vote to players and parents. Voting runs for 24 hours, and nobody can vote for themselves or their own child. The result can go into the report and onto a share graphic.

Junior teams are handled carefully

For under-18 age groups, junior mode is on automatically. Reports use first names only, and children are never named for negative moments such as cards, own goals, missed penalties or injuries. The detail is on the junior privacy page.

Is the report actually accurate?

The score, scorers and minutes are checked against the match you logged before anyone sees the report. If something does not match, you get a plain template report built from the match data rather than a report with a mistake in it.

How many reports do I get on the free plan?

Free includes three short match reports and one full report a month. Pro gives you a report after every game. The pricing page has the full comparison.

What if I only logged the score and scorers?

That is enough for a short, accurate report. The more you log, such as assists, substitutions and moments, the more the report has to work with, but no detail is compulsory.

Can I write the report myself instead?

Yes. Edit the draft as much as you like, or rewrite it entirely. It will be marked "Edited" and published with your words.
