About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and [company name to confirm] (“we”, “us”) for using Match Report GO, in the app and on matchreportgo.com. Our privacy policy explains how we look after data. By creating an account you agree to both.

Your account

• You need to be 18 or over to have an account [legal check: confirm the age]. Children take part through a parent or guardian's account, never their own.
• Give your real name and an email address you can use, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
• Tell us straight away at privacy@matchreportgo.com if you think someone else has used it.

Running a team

If you create or help run a team, you're responsible for how it's used:

• Only add people who are part of your team, and only with their agreement. For under-18s, you must have a parent or guardian's agreement first, and confirm it in the app when you add them.
• Only confirm people asking to join if you know who they are. Confirming someone lets them see the squad and reply for a player.
• Only add contact details that people have given you for running the team, and don't use them for anything else.
• Follow your club's and league's safeguarding rules. The app doesn't replace them.

What you put in, and what you share

What you write and upload (reports, notes, posts, badges, photos) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to your team and turn it into reports, pages and graphics, as the app does. When you publish a report, start a live page or share a graphic, you choose to make it public, and anyone with the link can see it and pass it on.

Only upload things you have the right to use, such as your own club's badge. Don't post anything unlawful, hurtful, discriminatory or that identifies a child beyond what the app shows. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

AI match reports

Reports are drafted by AI from the match details you enter, and checked against them before you see them. They can still get things wrong or read oddly. Read a report before you publish it: once you edit or publish it, it's your report. Without an AI connection, or if the check fails, the app writes a simpler report from a template.

Plans, trials and payments

• Free is free, with the limits shown in the app.
• Pro and Club are paid subscriptions for a team or club, at the prices shown in the app. They're bought through the App Store or Google Play, renew automatically and are cancelled in your store account settings. The store's refund rules apply.
• Each team can have one free 7-day Pro trial, with no card needed. When it ends, the team goes back to Free and keeps everything it made.
• If a team goes back to Free, published reports and graphics stay as they were made.
• We'll tell you before any price change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

Fair use

Don't try to get into teams or accounts that aren't yours, break or overload the app, copy it, or use it to send spam. Don't use it for anything unlawful.

The service

We work hard to keep Match Report GO running, including scoring with no signal, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change features to improve the app. If we stop a paid feature you rely on, we'll tell you in good time.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Club › Privacy and consent). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts children or others at risk, or abuses the service; where we can, we'll tell you why first. The privacy policy says what happens to data afterwards.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you use the app as a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don't affect. [Legal check: liability cap for paid plans and for club customers.]

Changes and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
