Netball moves quickly, and whoever is keeping score is usually also managing changes at every quarter break. Match Report GO is set up for netball on its own terms: a court, quarters, positions and changes, so the score is right and the match report reads like netball rather than football with the words swapped.

7-a-side and High 5

Netball supports the 7-a-side game and High 5 for juniors. Each has its own court drawing for line-ups, with the positions you would expect, from Goal Shooter and Goal Attack through Centre to Goal Defence and Goal Keeper.

Quarter lengths vary by age group and competition. The app lets you set them for the age group and for the match, but check with your league or governing body for the rules that apply to you.

Quarters and a court clock

Netball is played in four quarters, and the clock shows time within each quarter, the way netball scorers are used to reading it. The app never ends a quarter by itself; the scorer taps when the umpire blows. The first centre pass starts the match.

Six buttons for the side of the court

The Standard view gives you:

• Goal, with the shooter
• Missed shot
• Intercept
• Rebound
• Change, for players coming on or swapping in
• Moment, for anything worth a line in the report

Reports that follow the quarters

The match report is written from what you logged, in netball's language: goals, quarters, centre passes and changes. The score and the scorers are checked against the match before anyone sees it.

Over the season, season stats build up goals, interceptions, rebounds and turnovers won for each player, with player of the match awards alongside. Missed shots and penalties conceded are not turned into public leaderboards.

Junior netball

For under-18 teams, junior mode is on automatically. Public pages, reports and graphics use first names only, and no child is named for a missed shot, a penalty conceded, a caution or an injury. Fair playing time works across quarters, with detailed minute comparisons kept for staff.

Does it support High 5?

Yes. High 5 is supported for juniors alongside the 7-a-side game, with its own court drawing.

Can I set shorter quarters for younger players?

Yes. Quarter lengths can be set for the age group and changed for an individual match.

Will a child be named for missing a shot?

No. In junior mode, children are never named for negative moments, including missed shots and penalties conceded.

Can parents follow the score live?

Yes. Every match can have a live score page that updates itself, so families who cannot be there can follow each quarter.
